Now comes the adjusting part. Getting the bar to adjust to get the bolt back in the hole. Some of you may have no issues and it'll line right back up. Some won't, especially if you're using an adjustable bar. I adjusted mine a lot. Remember I had to take up about 1/8 on the passenger side, because it was 1/4" shifted that direction. If you cannot get it to line up directly, you may need another person to help you. If this is the case, you'll need to have them be behind the wheel. Start the truck, and crawl under it with the bolt. As the person sits behind the wheel, have them slightly move the wheel whichever way the hole needs to move to. Once the hole lines up, YELL LOUD TO STOP, remember the Powerstroke is singing! Then slide the bolt in and move to the next step. Say thank you for your help and send your helper on their way, or have them get you a beer, whatever.
